Sketchbook images to come...

I haven't posted any art in a while... I am working on some images and they are going to take a little time -but I will post some more drawings from my sketchbook when I get a chance ;)

For those of you who don't know, I always carry a small black notebook with me to sketch ideas for designs of creatures. I try to push myself continually to come up with unique ways of depicting faces and bodies -to express strange psychological states.

The sketchbook is an important learning place for me to stretch and reinvent my visual/anatomical "vocabulary" and is essential asset to my art-making.

Fourth Magazine Mentions My Art

Fourth Art and Culture magazine mentions me in their coverage of The Hive visionary art show "Bee Here Now" in downtown LA. I am in the pictures as well.

"The only artist I have the pleasure of meeting tonight is Sam Graham, an emerging artist who strives to capture spiritual themes in pieces like “Trimorphic Head.” The painting portrays a colorful four eyed creature made from wax, pastel and acrylic."
